The Score

The Condominium Operation Score Value (COSV) is comparable to that of a personal credit score. The COSV is based on factors that score the actions of a condominium corporation, based on ”Value and Credibility”. These operation factors are then transparent to the condo board, owner, buyer, seller, Realtor® lender, appraiser, lawyer, insurance provider or interested party, when they review the Independent Corporate Report and COSV score.

The score is based on the findings in Independent Corporate Report. The Report and score evaluated in three distinct areas: Governance, Operation and Finance, and Community.

The Independent Corporate Report is prepared by an individual or company licensed and trained by CMVS Canada Inc. Once the Report is completed, the Report and backup is submitted to CMVS Canada Inc. for scoring.

The scoring process is proprietary to CMVS Canada Inc. A team of independent condominium experts, each with better than 15 years experience in condominium developed the COSV scoring process exclusively for CMVS Canada Inc.
